The Dream of a Little Girl from Aguada, Puerto Rico

Updated: Apr 8

Verónica Morales born in Aguadilla Puerto Rico 45plus years ago. She was a creative girl. She loved to play out and about with friends, eat mangoes and all kind of tropical fruits. She was very creative and artistic since she was a baby. Her mom, Elsie Irizarry, will tell you that Verónica used to color and stay inside the lines since she was three. Verónica used to make jewelry with sea shells and sea glass she picked at the beach in her home town of Aguada. Her cousin, Wanda González, would take her to the beach for her to collect sea shells and all what later would become jewelry.

Years went by and she became a Theoretical Physicist with a masters in Electrical Engineering both degrees from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagüez. Many moons later this not-so-little-anymore girl arrives to Warrenton, VA to fulfill one of many dreams of her, to open her own boutique in an old town and appear on a local paper.
